We Can Change

When we look at our ways of thinking and behaving that are detrimental to our material and spiritual lives, it is natural to question whether we ever will overcome some of those bad habits. If we believe that negative or unproductive ways of being are carved into our genetic code, then we won't even try to overcome them. We'll accept our faults, problems and habits as part of who we are, and thus "live lives of quiet desperation."
